It was 1977 and I was in a builder model, daily, for weeks, with very little traffic and no results; a lonely outpost. In a moment of exasperation, I flagged down the mailman just to talk to someone.
“Where did he live?”
Circle Pines.
“How many kids?”

“Any thoughts of moving?”
Maybe
“If there was a way for you to buy this model home, would you?”
Yes. And he did. We took his home in on trade and he moved his growing family into this model home. And 37 years later it is still their home.
