Not to Decide, Is to Decide

It was a call from Jeanette. “Bob’s in the hospital. They won’t release him to go home because of the stairs; we have to move.”

The elderly couple had considered moving off and on over the past 10 years. Hoping to move to a smaller, walkable town closer to fishing. Now moving was overwhelming.

I often wonder if I had helped them decide to move sooner, if the outcome would have been better.

We should all remember; Not to Decide, Is to Decide.
