I was 18 years old and holding my first ever open house, for my partner, Jeff Joyer. A little house on Monroe Street in Minneapolis. A gentleman came in and said “I’ll take it.” I did cartwheels in my mind and then calmly said, “Sounds great, does meeting tomorrow at my office work for you to go over the paperwork?”
And just as Jeff had assured me, I was able to orchestrate the offer with no issues as I was able to reference everything I needed to complete a fair transaction.
