A purposeful life can be defined as your “Big Why.” The reason you get up in the morning, work a little harder, and never give in to adversity. In 1982, Mary and I jointly committed to our Big Why; preserving the family farm. Her Grandfather agreed to sell us the front 40 acres which included the home, barn, and outbuildings. Over the next three decades, we purchased 5 additional adjoining parcels to complete the 172 acres known as Waldoch Farm. Established in 1916, Waldoch Farm is celebrating becoming a Century Farm. In the month of October, you are invited to come to the farm and see what the next generation is doing to preserve the family farm.
