The Bully, the Runner, and the Last Laugh

It was Respect Your Elders Day at a middle school, and I was invited to give a presentation on Happy + Healthy living. I shared a story about my grade school experience.

Being younger, smaller, and a bit of a smart aleck, on occasion, I’d be bullied, specifically by one of the big athletic kids. As a result, I believe I became more resilient with difficult people and a faster runner.

The bully became a mortgage officer.

Do you know how many clients looking for loans I didn’t send to him? About 2000.
