It had been 1 year since our last appointment. The listing prospect, a past Client and I, had mutually wanted to work together again on selling her Lino Lakes home. However, at that time we couldn’t agree on a price. Now, two expired listings later, we meet again. She stated, “It appears you were Right about the Price.”
The Client points to a stack of flyers, folders and mailings from competitive Real Estate Agents soliciting her expired listing. We page through the literature; some with a guarantee to sell her home, others touting Exceptional Property divisions.
She responded, “Why should I list with you and not with one of them?”
My response, “I’ve lived and worked in this community for over 38 years; you have one of the nicest homes in Lino Lakes. I probably know the Buyer for this home personally. I probably go to the Chamber of Commerce or nearby YMCA with them.”
She did list with the Joyer Home Team. Within 12 days, Christy sold it to past Client and friend of the family that she was currently showing properties.
